Founded in 2025 by Amy Powney, AKYN [ˈakɪn] is a contemporary womenswear label crafting elevated wardrobe icons using natural and organic fibres.
Built around a foundation of elevated denim styles and sustainably-crafted wardrobe staples, each AKYN collection adds a new layer to a modern, enduring wardrobe. Designed to make you feel good both ethically and aesthetically, the focus is on impeccable craftsmanship, considered fabrics, and an effortlessly refined aesthetic. Each piece is made to last – timeless, beautifully-crafted, and aligned with our belief that we can create and care for the Earth.

SUSTAINABILITY
Every detail in our collection has been carefully considered to both elevate the design and minimise our impact on the planet.
We focus on four hero regenerative, natural and botanic fibres in our collections – organic, recycled or regenerative cotton, responsible non-mulesed wool, European flax linen, and botanically-sourced TENCEL™ Lyocell – chosen for both their quality and handfeel, as well as their sustainable credentials.
We care deeply about the people behind each piece in our collection, and work closely with our manufacturers and suppliers to build long-term relationships – visiting them regularly and tracing our supply chain from fibre to final garment. The vast majority of our collection is crafted in Portugal, with some of our limited run styles produced right here at our atelier in east London.
